“Sensul” is an Ethiopian 17th century chain manuscript, telling iconic spiritual stories through a series of images on colorful folded parchment. Inspired by this artistic depiction, Sensul is a dynamic 21st century contemporary online art gallery dedicated to promoting art out of Ethiopia, Africa and its diaspora. As an artist centered platform, we are excited to champion emerging and established artists for collectors. Abby and Dawit , two childhood best friends, are Sensul's founders and art lovers who aim to connect the unlimited artistic talent on the African continent and its diaspora with the world.
